This piece is my first work in nearly four months, having been preoccupied
for that period with other work.
This lidded vessel is made of walnut, maple and bloodwood. The lower maple portion of the vessel has four bloodwood inlays around the circumference. The lid and finial are made of walnut The vessel has three coats of Waterlox (original - median sheen), the first of which was wet-sanded in at 800 grit, and is 4.5" in diameter by 8" high.
