Several Blanket Children

Children are an integral part of the spirit of our workshop. Aside from the memories of my own children pounding on blocks, there are those others whose lives we affect by our actions and, never knowing who we are or what we do, will affect our works in return.

We have been fortunate to provide assistance to impoverished children through the sale of our plans and turned pieces, a portion of which goes toward these efforts. Perhaps the greatest of these is the work of my wife Lynne, who has probably sewn nearly 10,000 childrens blankets that were sent to dozens of countries. To the left are pictures of two orphaned middle-east children holding Lynne's blankets.

We are also fortunate in that news of our work made a local newspaper and inspired others to join the effort and several new sewing machines from anonymous/unknown sources arrived at our door. They are now being put to use by the others who are now helping out.

We hope to continue these efforts as long as we can and thank everyone who has contributed in one way or another. You know who you are.
